Kelaniya Temple – Colombo
After helping Lord Rama defeat Ravana, Prince Vibhishana was crowned ruler of Lanka. The Kelaniya Temple has a shrine dedicated to Vibhishana, worshipped as a deity. The temple is also significant for being visited by the Buddha himself.
