Day Wise Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 (Airport- Negombo approximately 20mins drive)

Arrival to Sri Lanka & welcome by our Tours Representative & transfer to Negombo. Check-in Hotel and Relax.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT STAY IN NEGOMBO

Day 2 Negombo- Kandy Approx 4hrs drive

After Breakfast 07.30 AM check out from hotel and transfer to Kandy. En-route visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Providing a caring home for abandoned and wounded elephants, it is a much loved destination for tourists and locals alike. Here, adults and baby elephants from around Sri Lanka thrive, and a captive breeding program is also proving to be highly successful. The feeding and bathing times are generally the ideal times to visit when you can observe these gentle giants at their best.

Further along your way you will visit a spice garden where you can touch and feel various organic herbs and spices and a Tea Factory enables you to see, smell, taste and touch the tea at every stage of the production process, and get an understanding of why certain teas taste as they do.

Evening enjoy a city tour of Kandy ï¿½ the last kingdom of the Sinhalese, taking in the sights of Upper Lake Drive and the Market Square on the way to pay homage to one of the most sacred religious sites in Sri Lanka. The Temple of the Tooth or Dalada Maligawa is believed to house the ï¿½tooth relicï¿½ of the Lord Buddha. A walk around the town will let you indulge in some souvenir hunting with intricate treasures in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony, bronze, ceramics, lacquer work, handlooms, batiks, jewelry and reed-ware to choose from.

Day 3 Kandy- Kalutara Approx 4hrs drive

After Breakfast, Check out & proceed to Kalutara. En-route visit Gem Museum & Royal Botanical Garden.

A Gem museum where you will learn about the gem industry in Sri Lanka through an informative film, see a mock-up of a gem pit where you get the hang of traditional gem mining, and visit a gem and jewellery gallery.

Royal Botanical Garden, 147 acres of lushness with over 5000 species of trees and plants many of which are rare or endemic; a spice garden and an Orchid house are yours to explore & transfer to Bentota/ Kalutara

Day 4 Bentota city tour

After Breakfast 10.00 AM Bentota city tour Visit a Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda - a successful conservation effort established to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction

Experience Madu River boat ride & Fish therapy - you can see huge mangrove, birds and animals who are living in this aquatic environment also you can get real experience natural foot massage from hundreds of fish. Sitting on a pier, you only have to plunge your feet into the water.

Day 5 Kalutara- Colombo Approx 2hrs

After breakfast 10.00 AM, Checkout & proceed to the Colombo.

Here, colonial architecture vies with glass skyscrapers and the past comes alive in buildings that have withstood great winds of change.
