Day 1 [AIRPORT – COLOMBO – APPROX 30 MINUTES DRIVE]
Arrival to Sri Lanka “The tear drop of Indian ocean” also known as “The Pearl Of The Indian Ocean” You will be welcomed by our Tours Representative & transfer to Colombo.

Evening enjoy Colombo City tour.

Colombo, the commercial capital city of Sri Lanka, from the busy commercial hub to the tree-lined suburbs. Here, colonial architecture vies with glass skyscrapers and the past comes alive in buildings that have withstood great winds of change. The National Museum, The Dutch museum, Parliament complex, Arcade Independent Square, Bandaranayke Memorial International conference hall, Independence Square, Town Hall, Colombo fort, Pettah ,Floating market, Gangaramaya temple, Beira Lake, Colombo national Museum Old Dutch Hospital, Nelum pokuna Mahinda Rajapakshe theatre, Galle Face Green Colombo’s best -loved seafront hangout as some of the most interesting places you could visit.

OVERNIGHT STAY IN COLOMBO
Day 2 COLOMBO- KANDY– APPROX 04 HRS DRIVE
After Breakfast check out from Hotel and proceed to Kandy.

En-route you will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Providing a caring home for abandoned and wounded elephants, it is a much loved destination for tourists and locals alike. Here, adults and baby elephants from around Sri Lanka thrive, and a captive breeding program is also proving to be highly successful. The feeding and bathing times are generally the ideal times to visit when you can observe these gentle giants at their best.

Further along your way you will visit a spice garden where you can touch and feel various organic herbs and spices and a Tea Factory enables you to see, smell, taste and touch the tea at every stage of the production process, and get an understanding of why certain teas taste as they do.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT STAY IN KANDY

Day 3 KANDY– TRINCOMALEE - APPROX 04 HRS DRIVE
After Breakfast check out from Hotel and commence Kandy City tour.

City tour of Kandy – Taking in the sights of Upper Lake Drive and the Market Square on the way to pay homage to one of the most sacred religious sites in Sri Lanka. The Temple of the Tooth or Dalada Maligawa is believed to house the ‘tooth relic’ of the Lord Buddha. A walk around the town will let you indulge in some souvenir hunting with intricate treasures in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony, bronze, ceramics, lacquer work, handlooms, batiks, jewelry and reed-ware to choose from.

Further you could visit a Gem museum where you will learn about the gem industry in Sri Lanka through an informative film, see a mock-up of a gem pit where you get the hang of traditional gem mining, and visit a gem and Jewelry gallery.

Thereafter Proceed to Trincomalee / Nilaveli to enjoy the East coast which is an ultimate getaway for those who wish for quiet bliss on a tropical heaven, far away from the cares of life.

On the way visit the historic Dambulla Cave Temple en route. Famed for their exquisite painted ceilings and statues – over 130 of them, the temple complex comprises five caves, some dating back to the 1st century B.C

Day 4 TRINCOMALEE
After Breakfast Trincomalee sight seeing.

Trincomalee is a port city on the northeast coast of Sri Lanka. Set on a peninsula, Fort Frederick was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Within its grounds, the grand Koneswaram Temple stands on Swami Rock cliff, a popular vantage point for blue-whale watching. The holy complex contains ornate shrines and a massive statue of Shiva. Nearby Gokanna Temple has panoramic views over the city and the coastline.

BRITISH WAR CEMETERY Which is a British military cemetery in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, for soldiers of the British Empire who were killed or died during World War II.

KANNIYA HOT SPRINGS which is also believed where King Ravana Carried out the last rites for his mother.

MARBLE BEACH “Marble Beach” is derived from the fact that when the sea is calm on a clear and bright day, the surface can be seen to be shining like marble. This calm and beautiful beach is relatively untouched and remains to be clean with pristine clear blue water. The sea here is also popular for snorkeling due to the existence of large schools of colored fish.

Day 5 TRINCOMALEE –DAMBULLA - APPROX 02 HOURS DRIVE
After Breakfast check-out from the hotel & transfer to Sigiriya.

Evening visit Sigiriya Rock

Sigiriya is home to the 5th Century ‘Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. Within it triple- moated defence the huge rock rises almost to a sheer height of 500ft. On its summit are the foundations of what was once a great and sumptuous palace and gardens complete with swimming pool. On one of the stairways the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of frescoes of life sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original color.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT STAY IN DAMBULLA
Day 6 DAMBULLA –CHILAW-APPROX 03 HOURS DRIVE
After Breakfast check-out from the hotel & transfer to Chilaw.

Evening visit Muneeswaram Temple & Manavari Temple.

Muneeswaram Temple : According to Hindu Philosophy Ram did penance in this temple to get rid of the Bramakasthi. The Temple is dedicated to God located in Chilaw.

Manavari Temple : Manavari is the first place where Rama installed the Siva

Lingam and prayed after the end of the war with King Ravana. Check-in Hotel and relax
